About Floop+

Floop+ is a mobile-only add-on being introduced in stages through the Android and iOS apps—not in the web browser. Its player-facing extras are cosmetic: they do not change the rules, cards, scoring or gameplay. The web game remains complete and free to enjoy.

Mobile-only extras, shared games

Floop+ is being introduced in stages through the Android and iOS apps, where selected hosts and solo players can use its extra features as they roll out. It is not available in the web browser, but mobile and web players can still join, play and interact in the same games for free. Visual customisations chosen by a Floop+ host, such as the card back, card border and table cloth, are visible to everyone in the room on both web and mobile.

This web page explains the offering; it does not sell or activate Floop+ for the browser version.

For hosts

  • Choose an ephemeral custom room code.
  • Pick a card back, card border and table cloth for everyone in the room.
  • Save your preferred game settings on your device.
  • Pause new admissions while you get the group ready.

For players

Floop+ players can use a custom avatar when the image service is available. Uploaded images are deliberately small and are being introduced in stages while safety checks and the service rollout are completed.

Images and Floop services

Only upload images you own or have permission to use. Do not upload illegal, abusive, obscene or otherwise inappropriate content. Images are resized and processed for file safety, but Floop is not a general content-moderated social platform and does not routinely review uploaded images for appropriateness. Floop may reject or remove an image that cannot be safely processed, or where action is needed to provide, secure or protect the service; you remain responsible for what you provide.

Every player can choose not to display uploaded avatars. Use of Floop and Floop+ remains subject to the applicable service and privacy terms.

Floop+ adds a little customisation and convenience; ordinary Floop remains complete and free to enjoy.
